K-LOK 400A Orange Connectors

Orange K-LOK 400A connectors designate Line 2 (L2) in North American 277/480V high-voltage systems. Orange is also the designated color for the high-leg delta conductor in certain 208V/240V delta transformer configurations, where one phase carries a higher voltage to ground than the other two. This makes orange a critical safety identifier. Electricians and power technicians are trained to recognize orange as a higher-voltage-to-ground conductor, and proper color coding prevents accidental connection of single-phase loads to the wild leg. All K-LOK 400A orange connectors share the full 400A/600V specification with brass contacts and Santoprene body rated to 105°C. Available as line connectors, panel mount receptacles, double set screw, and threaded stud variants.
