IP44-rated CEE connectors provide splash-proof protection suitable for indoor installations and sheltered outdoor environments. The IP44 rating means protection against solid objects larger than 1mm (such as wires and small tools) and against water splashing from any direction. This is the standard protection level for most general-purpose industrial and commercial CEE installations: distribution boards in workshops, temporary event power setups, factory floor connections, and covered outdoor panels.
